Warrio

Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-09-23

These Terms

These Terms govern your use of Warrio, which is operated by Livio Maroni, Rietstrasse 29, 8840 Einsiedeln, Switzerland. Warrio is run by an individual, not by a company. Where Warrio Pro is sold on the web, Livio Maroni is the seller and your contract for it is with Livio Maroni personally; in the Warrio app for iPhone it is sold through Apple's App Store, where Apple is the seller. Creating an account or using Warrio means these Terms apply to you.

Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how Warrio handles your data — including that scanning any document, an insurance policy or a passport included, sends the image to Google for analysis.

Who may use Warrio

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement where you live. Warrio asks for your date of birth once to confirm this; it is checked, never stored, and beyond that check Warrio does not verify your age — by providing it you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Warrio is available worldwide, offered in English, and is not tailored to the law of any particular country. You are responsible for whether your use of Warrio is lawful where you are.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us at Liviomaroni1@gmail.com if you believe someone else has accessed it.

Keep your email address current: it is how you recover access, and it is the only way to reach you about your account.

Acceptable use

Use Warrio lawfully and for your own records. Do not upload content you have no right to store, do not attempt to reach other people's data, and do not disrupt, probe or overload the service.

Do not use Warrio to store information about someone else without an appropriate basis or their permission, particularly identity documents.

Do not use the scanning feature to process documents in bulk on behalf of others, or in any way that breaches the AI provider's own acceptable-use rules.

Plans and limits

Warrio has a Free plan and a Pro plan. On the Free plan an account may hold 3 items and at most 1 insurance policy (an insurance policy counts as one of those items), 100 MB of files, and may run 10 AI document scans per calendar month. Pro provides more room for your collection and documents, and allows 250 AI scans per calendar month.

These limits are enforced by the service and may change; if they change in a way that reduces what your plan includes, that change will be communicated in the app.

Paid subscriptions

Warrio Pro is a paid subscription. Who you are buying it from depends on where you buy it, and the two are not the same contract.

In the Warrio app for iPhone, Warrio Pro is sold through Apple's App Store as an in-app purchase. Apple — not Livio Maroni — takes the payment, manages renewals and handles cancellation under Apple's own terms: Apple shows you the price before you confirm, you cancel in the Subscriptions section of your Apple account settings rather than inside Warrio, and refunds follow Apple's refund process.

Buying Warrio Pro on the web is not currently offered. The paragraphs below describe that purchase and apply whenever it is available.

On the web you buy from Livio Maroni. The payment is handled by Stripe: you enter your card and billing details on Stripe's own checkout page, and before you confirm, Stripe shows you the price in US dollars and the total that will be charged. Warrio never receives or stores your card details — it is told only that a subscription has started, changed or ended.

The web purchase is available wherever Stripe can process your payment. Stripe asks for a billing address at checkout; it is used for Stripe's own records and is not a condition of getting Warrio Pro.

The subscription renews by itself. You choose monthly or yearly billing when you buy, and at the end of each period Stripe charges the same payment method again for another one. This continues until you cancel — Warrio does not ask you to confirm each renewal.

If the price changes, the new price applies from your next renewal and never to a period you have already paid for. A price change will be communicated in the app before the renewal it applies to, so that you can cancel first if you do not want it.

You can cancel a web subscription at any time from Membership in your Warrio profile, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal: the period you have already paid for runs to its end and you keep Warrio Pro until then, and the unused part of that period is not paid back. If a payment has gone wrong, write to Liviomaroni1@gmail.com.

Scanning, AI and accuracy

Warrio's scanning is assistive. It uses automated systems, including Google's Gemini API, to read a document and suggest values so you do not have to type them. It is not a verification service and it does not check anything against the retailer, manufacturer or insurer.

Automated reading gets things wrong. Prices, dates, product names, warranty lengths, providers and expiry dates may be extracted incorrectly, mixed up between lines, or missed altogether. There is no guarantee that an extraction is complete or correct.

Every scan result is shown to you for confirmation before it is saved, and you are responsible for checking it against the original document. Do not rely on an unreviewed scan.

Reminders, warranty periods and expiry calculations are derived from what is stored, so they inherit any error in it. They are a convenience, not a substitute for the original receipt, warranty card, policy document, or for the terms of the retailer, manufacturer or insurer. Always check the original before relying on a date or a claim deadline.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add. You give the operator only the permission needed to store your content, process it as described in the Privacy Policy, and show it back to you.

Keep your own copies of anything important. Warrio is a convenience tool, not a system of record and not a replacement for original documents. You can export your data at any time from Settings.

Warrio's own rights

The Warrio application, its source code, design, name and logo belong to the operator or the operator's licensors. These Terms give you permission to use the service; they transfer no ownership in it.

Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or create a competing service from Warrio, except to the extent that applicable law expressly allows it despite this restriction.

Availability

Warrio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It may be unavailable, may change, may lose functionality, and is not guaranteed to be error-free or uninterrupted.

Features may be added, altered or withdrawn. Where a change materially reduces what your plan includes, it will be communicated in the app.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for anything else that mandatory law reserves. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this section.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law: warranties and conditions not expressly stated here are excluded, and the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Warrio — including loss caused by relying on a reminder, on an extracted value, or on a stored document, or by the unavailability or loss of the service.

Warrio is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not provide legal, insurance or financial advice, and nothing it displays should be treated as such.

Ending your use

You may stop using Warrio at any time, and you may delete your account from Settings inside the app or by writing to Liviomaroni1@gmail.com. Deletion removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy, including the limits explained there, and cannot be undone.

The operator may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law. Where it is reasonable to do so, you will be told why and given a chance to put it right.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated. Material changes will be communicated in the app, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use Warrio after that means the updated Terms apply. If you do not accept a change, you may delete your account.

Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the substantive law of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

If you use Warrio as a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are habitually resident that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Where disputes are heard

The competent courts at the operator's domicile in Switzerland have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

If you use Warrio as a consumer, this does not affect any right you have under mandatory law to bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you are habitually resident, or to be sued only in those courts.

Before going to court, please write to Liviomaroni1@gmail.com — most problems are quicker to fix directly.
